William "Billy" Schupp
Billy Schupp, 74, of Pilot Grove, Missouri passed away Sunday, July 15, 2018 at Boone Hospital in Columbia, Missouri with his family at his side. He was one of six children born to Harlan Joseph and Alice Kathryn Schupp of Pilot Grove. He was a graduate of Pilot Grove High School, class of 1962. He worked as a carpenter before becoming maintenance supervisor with the Dept. of Corrections in Boonville where he retired after over 20 years. Billy was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pilot Grove; the Knights of Columbus and the American Legion. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals' fan who enjoyed working in his garden and going fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Jerry Schupp; and sister Margie Innes; brother-in-law Roy Eichelberger. He is survived by his wife Selma of the home; sons Troy Schupp of Pilot Grove and Travis Schupp of New Franklin; grandsons Tanner, Isaac, and Carson Schupp; brother Larry Schupp and his wife Barb of Pilot Grove; sister Bernice Eichelberger of Boonville, Marilyn Gerling and her husband David of Pilot Grove; sister-in-law Peggy Schupp of Pilot Grove; brother-in-law Clifford Innes of Fayette; numerous nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday, July 21, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pilot Grove with burial following in St. Martins Cemetery, Martinsville. Visitation will be from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Friday evening at the church with Rosary beginning at 4 p.m. Memorials are suggested to St. Joseph Church or St. Martin Cemetery.
