John was born on December 13, 1939 and passed away on Monday, July 16, 2018. John was a resident of Saint Louis, Michigan at the time of passing. He graduated from St. Louis High School with the class of 1957. John served his country in the United States Army Reserve. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Nativity of the Lord Parish, Mt. St. Joseph Site in St. Louis, MI on Friday, July 20, 2018 at 12:00 P.M., with Fr. Nate Harburg officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel Garden Cemetery, Elwell, MI. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 19, 2018 from 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. and a Vigil Service at 7:00 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis, MI. Visitation - with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the Smith Family Funeral Homes - St. Louis from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on July 19, 2018. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Nativity of the Lord Parish.
