Ronald Thomas Russell
Ronald Thomas Russell, 56, of Pottsville, died unexpectedly of natural causes July 5 in his home. He was born Oct. 3, 1961, a son of the late Ronald S. and Shirley A. Price Russell. Ron graduated from Mahanoy Area High School, Class of 1979. He worked as a machinist for several years, later working at Schuylkill products, and was currently employed at Omnova Solutions, Auburn. Ron loved being out in nature. He loved hunting, fishing, archery and tying fishing flies. He was a member of the West Penn Archery Club. He also loved riding his motorcycle. Surviving are his sisters, Jane Prantow (spouse, Anthony Prantow), Tamaqua, Rose Vinson (spouse, Shane Vinson), Florida, Patricia Hoppes (spouse, Darrin Hoppes) Tennessee; nieces and nephews, Anthony, Nicole, Erin, Ashley, Amanda, Daniel, Joseph, Little Shane, Mikey, Nathan and Tyler.
