BRUCE ASHLEY HENDERSON February 1, 1930 ~ May 30, 2018 Bruce Henderson passed away May 30, 2018 at his home in Riggins Idaho, he was 88. Bruce was born February 1, 1930 to Ed and Goldie Henderson in Red Bluff, Ca. The family lived on their ranch in Lowery, 27 miles west of Red Bluff. Bruce was raised working with his father packing hunters, surveyors and supplies in the Mendocino Forest and the Yolla Bolly Mountains. On October 23, 1949 he married Joy Wolcott, she passed away 4 months later in January 1950. Bruce then entered the Army and served in Okinawa. After coming home, Bruce married Nancy Edna (Stone) March 4th 1954, they were married for 49 years when Nancy passed away November 14, 2003. He worked for Crane Mills driving Dozers and Logging Trucks. Bruce and Nancy moved to Idaho in 1969. In Idaho he continued driving logging trucks and was well known for his guiding service. Bruce is survived by his brother Pete Henderson and sister Anita Gonzales, both of Red Bluff. 4 sons, Richard Henderson, Ronald Henderson, Rod (Renee) Henderson and Randall (Zelda)Henderson, 12 Grandchildren and many great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter in law Iva Henderson and by 1 grandchild. Services will be held June 16th, 2018 in Riggins Idaho.
