ERIE — Kristin Elizabeth Bloodgood, 38, of Franklin and formerly of Erie died Monday, June 4, 2018, near Franklin of injuries suffered in an automobile accident. Kristin was born Sept. 19, 1979, in Moline, the daughter of Larry and Debbie (Stark) Bloodgood. She graduated from United Township High School. She worked at Strive, Winning Wheels and Springfield Clinic as a certified nursing assistant. Kristin's family was her greatest passion. She loved cooking and NASCAR and was a huge Dale Earnhart Jr. fan. She enjoyed vacationing with her grandparents and taking the kids to the St. Louis Zoo. Kristin was jovial; everything was funny to her, including her nickname, Muffin Stuffin. Kristin is survived by her parents, Larry and Debbie Bloodgood of Erie; a daughter, Hannah Bloodgood; two sons, A.J. and Jonny Paxton; her siblings, Shad Stark of Moline, Casie Amos of Erie, and Mikala (Rick) Ballard of Port Richey, Florida; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Doyle Sr. and Eileen Stark; and her paternal grandparents, Carl and Bertha Bloodgood. She left this life with her son, Alexander Bloodgood; and his stepfather, Anthony Paxton. Visitation will be from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday, June 10, 2018, at Gibson-Bode Funeral Home, 616 Main St., Erie. Following the visitation, friends and family are invited to the Bloodgood home at 10559 Springhill Road, Erie, for food and fellowship. Memorials may be made to the family for the care of her children. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, June 11, 2018, at Greenview Memorial Gardens in East Moline.
