Henry R. Ceurvels
Henry Roy Ceurvels, 79 of Rockland, passed on May 10, 2018 at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth. He was born on April 15, 1939 in Boston to the late Henry and Robina (Lannigan) Ceurvels. He was raised and educated in South Boston and was the loving husband of Mary Ann (Kehoe) Ceurvels. Mr. Ceurvels served his country as an enlisted member in the United States Marine Corps. Upon his return, he married his high school sweetheart and moved to Rockland in 1963 where he and Mary Ann raised their five children. He was an avid fisherman and competed in the Marthas Vineyard Striped Bass Fishing Derby. Henry was a retired truck driver and a 40 year proud member of the Teamsters Union. He was a member of the Rockland Jaycees and the Rockland Democratic Town Committee. He was a Patriots fan but his real love was the New York Giants. He enjoyed vacationing with his children and grandchildren at the beach and watching the Red Sox with his wife of 58 years. Along with his wife, Henry leaves behind his children and their spouses; Michael and Karen Ceurvels of Rockland, Lisa and Ron Nannie of Illinois, John and Tina Ceurvels of Rockland, Gesina and Dave Noun of Rockland and William Brennan of Taunton.
