Robert Tupper, 90 Phoenix, MD - Robert M. Tupper Sr. age 90, passed peacefully on Monday, May 7, 2018 with family in Phoenix, MD. Robert, known to all as Bob, was born in Worcester to Charles and Elsie Tupper (nee Marsh). He lived in Worcester for 80 years until moving to Mesa, AZ. Bob was a veteran of the United States Army and was stationed in Greenland. He worked as a group leader at Belden Wire and Cable, formerly Phalo Corporation for over 35 years. He was a former member of Wesley United Methodist Church. He was also a former member of St. Joan of Arc Church where he was a volunteer in the Youth Ministry Program and St. Vincent De Paul. Bob was an avid New England sports fan, particularly for the Red Sox and Patriots. He enjoyed traveling with family and friends. Bob leaves his devoted wife of 41 years Judith Tupper (nee Kwiatkowski), a son Robert M. Tupper Jr. of Webster, 2 daughters, Kristen A. Tyson and husband Paul of Portland, ME and Karin A. Rak and husband Andrew of Phoenix, MD. He also leaves 6 grandchildren, Christa Sallie, Austin and Hannah Tyson, Julianna, Olivia, and Ethan Rak. 2 great-grandchildren Rachael and Andrew Sallie. The are also many nieces and nephews. Bob was predeceased by 2 daughters Bonnie E. Riley, and Jill E. Tupper and a grandson James E. Cook Jr. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 10:00 am at St. Joan of Arc Church, 570 Lincoln St. Worcester, MA 01605. Internment will be private.
