Ann C. May King Ferry - Ann C. May, 55, of King Ferry, passed away Thursday, May 3, 2018 at the Cayuga Medical Center. Ann was born June 20, 1962 in Binghamton, NY. She was a graduate of Lansing Central School and afterward attended Cortland State University. She was employed by Cornell University for over 22 years, most recently as the Department Manager of the Architecture Department. After spending years devoted to her children's sports endeavors, Ann found joy in watching the sunsets at the lake house with her family and friends. She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Tim May, son, Jared May, daughter, Lianna May, mother, Peg Warden (Joseph), sisters, Barbara Ross (Dave), and Peggy Bauman, special nieces and nephew: Cara, Patrick and Maeve Campbell, Brianna Chilkotowsky, Madeline Cermin, Cailin Ross, and Grace Bauman; several other family members and friends. Ann was predeceased by her father, Robert Wertz, and by her sister, Mary K Campbell. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am, Wednesday, May 9, in Our Lady of the Lake Church, King Ferry. Interment will follow in Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery. Friends may call at the Shurtleff Funeral Home, 10117 Route 90, Genoa, on Tuesday from 4 to 7 pm.
