CARL LEE STANLEY
CARL LEE STANLEY, 45, of White Pine, Tenn., formerly of Sidney, Ky., gained his heavenly wings to be with the Lord at his home on April 14, 2018. He was born on July 4, 1972, in Pikeville, Ky., the son of Conal and Mari Stanley. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Danny Stanley. Those left behind to cherish his memories include his mother, Mari Stanley of White Pine, Tenn.; and his children, Madison "Maddie" and Zan Stanley of Pikeville, Ky. In addition to his mother and kids, he also leaves behind his nephews, John Bevins (Hanna Cook) of Morristown, Tenn., and Joey Stanley of Belfry, Ky. He was loved by all who knew him. He was always willing to help friends and family. Carl retired from the U.S. Air Force, serving in Operation Desert Storm. He enjoyed shooting guns, being outside riding in the mountains, and he especially loved playing and teaching his dog Apollo new tricks. The grief of his loss will never end. The celebration of Carl's life will be held at the family cemetery in Sidney, Ky. Friends and family are invited to attend the burying of his ashes at Pinson Cemetery at a later date, which will be announced by the family.
