Norman Goldstein
Norman Goldstein of Parkland, Florida, formerly of Brooklyn, NY, passed away on March 7, 2018, at the age of 94. A devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather, he served in the US Army Air Force during World War II. After graduating St. John's University Law School, he was admitted to practice law in NY in 1948. He served as Director of Organizing for the Southern Conference of Teamsters and lectured at several universities throughout the nation. He has been a Florida resident since 1956. He is survived by his daughter Deborah (Gary) Dummitt, grandson Jonathan (Sarah) Dummitt, step-grandson Gordon (Sarah) Spring, sister Judith Wittenstein, niece Carol Wittenstein, and nephews Mark (Mary) Sternberg and Stu (Donna) Wittenstein. After a wonderful 46-year marriage to Florence Barron, who died of cancer, he married Joy Stern, until her death 22 years later. He will always be in our hearts and we will miss him every day. A private burial will be held at Eternal Light Memorial Gardens. Memorial gifts can be made to Vitas Hospice Care.
