JOHNSON 89, passed away on March 5, 2018 She was the beloved wife of the late Ralph F. Johnson. She is survived by daughter Barbara, sons Cliff (Janet), David (Kim) and Wayne; Grandson Andrew (Brianna) Great Grandson Walter, Grandson Scott (Heather), Grand Daughter Nicole Stanton (David) Great Grandsons Connor & Logan and Grand Daughter Cassandra. Orma was born February 12, 1929 in Pennsboro, WV to Clifton and Opal Wilson. She graduated from Pennsboro High School and was very active in 4-H. She was privileged to be elected to the 4-H Hall of Fame. She graduated from Marietta College with degrees in Biology and Sociology, plus a teaching certificate, then graduated from Western Reserve with a Medical Technologist Degree, MT (ASCP) She worked for the Bayless Labs in Lima, Ohio at St. Rita's Hospital as head of the Chemistry Department. While in Lima, she taught Sunday School for many years and was very active in both Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, with Ralph. After moving to Rocky River, Orma volunteered as a School Room Helper for more than 10 years and volunteered for AFS more than 15 years. Additionally, she served as a Poll Worker for more than 30 years, was an Arbitrator for the Better Business Bureau for 19 years and was elected as Arbitrator of the Year in 1988. Family will greet friends at the Holick Craciun Funeral Home at 23040 Center Ridge Rd. Westlake, Ohio 44145 on Thursday from 3:00 - 7:00, and at the Funeral Service on Friday at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made to The Salvation Army 2507 E. 22nd Ave. Cleveland, Ohio 44115 or Hospice of Western Reserve 17876 St. Clair Ave. Cleveland, Ohio 44110-2602 Burial will be held in a private service in Pennsboro, WV. www.holickcraciunfuneralhome.com
