"On Friday February 23, 2018, Melanie Janelle Hoitt of Candia, NH, passed away suddenly in Riverview FL. She will forever be remembered and cherished by her wife, Crystal Maxwell and her precious son, Jace Hoitt Maxwell. A native of NH, "Mel" attended Manchester Central HS, Notre Dame College and later earned her Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education at the University of South Florida. She is survived by her parents Robert "Wayne" Hoitt of Venice, FL and Louise C. Janelle of West Bath, ME, as well as her brother John Hoitt of Manchester, NH, half sisters Jennifer Hoitt and Tomasyn Goode, her in-laws Donald and Barbara Maxwell of Dover, FL and a beloved network of family and friends. She will be remembered for her passion for her students, love of the beach, and addiction to the Food Network. A celebration of her life will be held from 2-5 pm on Sunday March 11, 2018 at Children's Academy of Brandon, 506 Limona Rd., Brandon, FL. A celebration of Melanie's life will also be held in NH sometime this summer. Condolences can be sent to the family at 11819 Cedarfield Drive, Riverview, FL 33579"
