Was born to Walter and Clementine Goodman in Joiner, Arkansas. He was a graduate of Tolleston High School Class of 1963. He enlisted and served in the United States Army. Arthur retired from NIPSCO after 30 years of service. Arthur departed this life on February 15, 2018. He is preceded in death by both parents; one grandson, Arthur L. Goodman, III and one brother Langford Goodman. He leaves to cherish his wonderful and fond memories to his serving children Yolanda Kelly, Arthur Goodman, Jr, Sharon Mitchell, Nicole (Terrance) Banks; Brothers, Walter (Lucy) Goodman, Supt. Johnny (Lena) Maynor and Sherwin (Lillian) Maynor; Sisters, Gloria Kelly, Barbara Goodman, Patricia (Austin)McCully; Daughter in law, Marcella Baker; 12 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family, friends, and his McDonalds Crew. He will truly be missed by everyone who knew him and his memories will be cherished into eternity forever. Visitation is Thursday, February 22, 2018 from 12:00 - 8:00 PM with family and friends hour from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Manuel Memorial Funeral Home 421 W 5th Ave Gary In.
