Jonathan Webster King III Jonathan Webster King III "John" died peacefully on January 27, 2018, surrounded by his family at the age of 80. He was born in WV, and spent most of his childhood in Niles, OH, until he joined the Marine Corps from 1956 until his honorable discharge in 1962. John worked in numerous fields until becoming a weldor in the airline industry where he retired after 33 years of service. He earned his private pilot license in 1972 and enjoyed acrobatic flying. In retirement, he fulfilled a long held dream to own a 1940 Ford, complete with flaming paint job, which he enjoyed driving daily. John was predeceased by his son, Guss H. King, his wife, Gracie Gilchrist, and sister, Tomi Tara Diller. He is survived by his daughter, Candice King, grandchildren, Alec Franklin and spouse Marie Stitt, his brother, Paul King and sister Pauline King. He was very loved.
