Gary Michael English
Gary Michael English Sept. 5, 1957 – Jan. 22, 2018 Resident of Felton Michael quietly passed away at home on Monday, his wife and friend at his bedside. He was born and lived in San Jose until twenty five years ago when he moved to Felton. There he was a printed circuit board designer with Seagate and Plantronics. At the young age of 47 he retired to pursue his true passion, art. Life drawing at the Santa Cruz Mountain Art Center awakened his desire to draw and paint. Everyone who met Michael instantly felt like they had a new friend. His smile stayed with you long after you parted. Whether it was riding Harley's, practicing Kung Fu, going to bow shoots or painting he made you feel welcome and you were important in his life. Michael also served as Water Manager and President of the RGMWA. He is survived by his wife Mars of forty years, his daughter Jennefer, his Aunt Jean and cousin Nan, his father Sam and stepmother Mary, brother Scott and sister Colleen. He was never considered an "in-law" but more one of his wife's family, Art, Charlie, Sandy, Chris, Steve, Scott, Barbara, Mason and Sami. Michael was preceded in death by his mother Kay and his brother Daniel. Michael will be missed by each and every person he met. We all feel blessed to have known him even for a short time. As he would say "have an amazing life!" View the online memorial for Gary Michael  English
