John Donato DiGiambattista
DiGiambattista, John Donato, beloved husband of Carmel (Vinci) DiGiambattista of Anaheim Hills, passed away after a long illness on January 23, 2018 at St Joseph's Hospital in Orange with his family at his side. John was born May, 31, 1940 in Concord, New Hampshire, son of Peter and Rose DiGiambattista. John is survived by his wife of 50 years, Carmel; his children, John, Elissa and Michael; and ten wonderful grandchildren. John grew up in New Hampshire, graduated from Boston College in 1962, and completed his MBA at Pepperdine College in Malibu. John worked in defense and aerospace for 40 years, but his passion was his family and the outdoors. An Angels fan and long-time Boy Scout leader, "Big" John touched the lives of many in the Cypress/La Palma area. The family will hold a visitation at Ferrara-Lee Funeral Home in Orange Sunday, January 28, 6-8:00 PM. The memorial service will be Monday January 29 at 10 AM at San Antonio church in Anaheim Hills.
