Carmine S. Monteforte, of North Massapequa, New York passed away January 8, 2018. His earthly journey ended at his home surrounded by his loving family, after a long heath battle. He was a proud retired New York City Sanitation Officer. After retirement he drove a school bus for many years for the Plainedge School District. Carmine was absolutely one of a kind. A true old school gentleman, and a devoted family man. He will be greatly missed. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 68 years, Millie, and their daugther's, Patricia and Joann. His dear niece Rosemarie, and her late husband Mac. Nephew's Steven, John, Michael and his wife Kathleen and sweet Cameron and Kaitlyn. ~ Visitation will be held on Wednesday and Thursday from 2:00 to 4:30 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. ~ Funeral mass will be held on Friday at 10:45 a.m. at Maria Regina RC Church . 3945 Jerusalem Avenue . Seaford .
