Deacon James D. Williams Sr. Great-great-great grandfather, 87 Deacon James D. Williams, Sr., 87, made his transition on Nov. 27, 2017. A celebration of his life will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at Antioch Baptist Church, 640 S. Springfield Ave., Springfield, N.J. Entombment will be at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union, N.J. Visitation is on Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of services at the church. Arrangements are by Whigham Funeral Home. Mr. Williams was the beloved husband of the late Arlene E. Clark and the late Catherlyn L. Williams; devoted father of Mary Jones, David Williams, Sharon Williams Morris, and James Jr.; loving brother of Arnold Williams (Carolyn), Rose Pollard, Johnnie Mae Patterson, Delores Hammond, and Rhonda Evans; father-in-law of Helen Williams; cherished grandfather of 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren, and adopted grandchildren (Ijames and the Wiggins Family). He is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.
