Janice Evelyn Gallman, 89, of Liberty, Mississippi, passed away Thursday, November 9, 2017. She was born July 28, 1928, the daughter of Thomas Jefferson Wilson and Maggie Griffith Wilson. Mrs. Gallman worked in the Ladies Auxlilary at Lane Memorial Hospital; she was a homemaker and a member of the Liberty United Methodist Church in Liberty, MS. She is survived by four children, Beverly Fite and her husband Richard, Jeff Gallman and his wife Dena, Kay Wilkinson, and Joan Lumpkin and her husband Billy Joe; grandchildren, Heather Wilkinson, Chris Wilkinson, Andy and Kasey Lumpkin, Lisa and Kris King, Bill Lumpkin and friend Amanda Baker, Logan Gallman, Anna Snider, Rachel Snider, Richie Fite; five great-grandchildren; two nieces, Shirley Hall, Marilyn Rothwell; and one nephew Billy Wilson. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Emmett Kenneth Gallman Sr., one son Emmett Kenneth Gallman Jr., one son-in-law Joe Wilkinson, one grandchild, Ashley Fite; siblings, Robert Earl Wilson, Bufford T. Wilson, Versie Wilson, Mignonne Wilson, and Marjorie Wilson; three nephews, Bobby Wilson, Larry Wilson, and Ronnie Wilson. Visitation is Sunday, November 12, 2017 at Brown Funeral Home in Liberty, MS. from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Graveside services will be held Monday, November 13, at Greenoaks Cemetery in Baton Rouge, La. at 12:30 P.M., Monday, officiated by Rev. Megan Reed. Pallbearers are Chris Wilkinson, Logan Gallman, Andy Lumpkin, Bill Lumpkin, Kris King, Billy Joe Lumpkin, and Jeff Gallman. Honorary Pallbearers are Richard Fite and Richie Rite.
