Alicia Rose Larkins Daniel Dickson - Funeral servcies were conducted Monday evening, October 16, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. from the chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home. Bro. Steve Baggett and Bro. George Caudill officiated.. Place of rest is in the Williams Addition of the Dickson Union Cemetery. Those desiring, memorials may be made to Charlotte Elemetary School or to the Room Inn Our Hearts of Walnut Street Church of Christ. Mrs. Daniel, age 81, widow of the late Noah Daniel and lifelong resident of Dickson,TN died peacefully Friday, October 13, 2017 at Southerland Place in Brentwood,TN after a short stay. She was born in Dickson County and was the daughter of the late Leon Larkins and the late Lorraine Goodrich Larkins Fry. She and Mr.Daniel were married for 52 years at the time of his death. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Maria Rose Daniel, her brother, Charles Gary "Buzzy" Larkins and her son-in-law, Kevin Tuck. She was an employee of the Dickson County Board of Education for many years where she was the Charlotte Elemetary School Librarian. She was a longtime faithful member of the Walnut Street Church of Christ , Mrs. Daniel was a member of the Retired Teachers Association and the book review club. She loved sports and folllowed many sports expecially those that her grandchildren were involved in. Win or lose she was their number one fan and supporter. Last but not least anything chocolate could and would make her very happy. She was a sweet sweet spirited southern lady who was totally devoted to her family, friends, community and profession. She graced all that she came in contact with a soft spoken voice and a beautiful smile. She and her late husband loved life and loved their travels to all parts of our world. She is survived by her three children; Gary Neil Daniel, Wade Jerome Daniel and his wife, Kimberly, and Christy Tuck all of Dickson,TN, speical daughter in law, Belinda Daniel of Dickson, TN; her sister, Angela Larkins Donegan and her husband, Danny of Dickson,TN, her 11 grandchildren; Chelsea Daniel Foust and husband, Stephen, Rachel Daniel Davis and husband, Sean, Colin Tuck, Houston Daniel, Hunter Daniel, Cameron Tuck, Trevor Daniel, Caleb Tuck, Cayce Daniel, Tiffany Oakley Ellison and husband Christopher and Chad Oakley. her 3 great grandchildren, Esmi, Everly,Adalynn, Several nieces and nephews. Also surviving is Alicia's longtime, dear friend Treva Corlew Horne. Active Casket bearers will be her Grandsons; honorary will be Treva Corlew Horne and the Sylvis Street Friends.
