A Joyce Bogart Palm Bay A. Joyce Bogart, age 93, passed away on Sept 13 at Bethesda Assisted Living. Joyce was born April 2, 1924, in Forest City, NC, the next-to-youngest of 8 surviving children.  She grew up in High Point, NC. In WWII, she met her husband Bill, from Daytona Beach, and was married in 1946. They moved to FL in 1956 where Bill worked for KSC. Joyce was a homemaker before going to work for NASA in payroll. She retired in 1984. Joyce taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School for 20 years at King Street Baptist and First Baptist of Merritt Island. She was a loving wife, mother, and friend. Survivors include her husband, Bill; daughter, Beverly Pilkington; granddaughter, Rachel Rowe; sister, Oveda Pearson; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Joyce's service will be held at 11:30 in the chapel of FBC Merritt Island, with viewing 11:00. Atlantic Mortuary is overseeing arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to Gideons International or David Jeremiah's teaching ministry, Turning Point.
