D. Scott Roadhouse
Scott Roadhouse, 60, of Indian Springs, Nevada, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, August 27, 2017. Scott was born November 27, 1956, to Earl Allen “Roady” and Nancy Roadhouse in Idaho Falls, Idaho and was a 26-year resident of Indian Springs, Nevada. Scott served in the United States Army from 1975-1981. He worked in auto body repair until he began attending Eastern Idaho Technical College in 1985. He received his Associates of Applied Science in Radiation Safety Technology on June 7, 1989. He worked at the Nevada National Security Site for over 25 years; most recently he worked for NSTec as a Radiological Control Technician. He married Trina Burnside on March 6, 1981, and they had three beautiful children; Dan, Jessica, and Brock. Scott was preceded in death by his father, Earl Allen Roadhouse, and his father-in-law, Noel Burnside. He is survived by his beloved wife, Trina Roadhouse, sons Dan (Sarah) Roadhouse and Brock, daughter Jessica (Sawyer) Griffith, mother Nancy Roadhouse, sisters Julie (Robert) Dotson, Cindy (Gary) Krekelberg, and Sheri (Ron) Weaver, and many brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, and nieces and nephews. Services for Scott will take place Saturday, September 2 at 10 a.m. with a burial to follow at 11 a.m at Palm Northwest Cemetery and Mortuary, 6701 N. Jones Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89131.
