William K. Lee
William K. Lee, 73, of Wyano, died Saturday, Aug. 19, 2017, at RNC Rehabilitation And Nursing Center in Greensburg. He was born Feb. 1, 1944, in Mt. Pleasant, a son of the late William and Jean Lee. He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Sandra (Hoppy) Lee. Prior to retirement, he was employed at Copperweld in Glassport. William and his wife were avid cyclists and would frequent the rails to trails from West Newton to Connellsville. He was a train and gas engine enthusiast, enjoyed restoring classic motorcycles and bicycles and spent his free time working with his hands in his machine shop. He was a devoted husband and enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He is survived by three children, Kelli Barbera and husband, Kirk, of Smithton, William Lee and wife, Kristine, of Greensburg, and Tim Lee and wife, Amy, of Loretto; and eight grandchildren, Krysti and husband, Matt, Kody, William (BJ), Maria, Hunter, Josh, Noah and Sydney; and three step-grandchildren, Adriana, Ayrton and Alessia. At the request of William, there will not be a viewing. A private memorial gathering will be held on at a later time for family and friends.
