Mr. Garland was born on September 24, 1929 and passed away on Thursday, July 13, 2017. Mr. Garland was a resident of Georgia. He was a graduate of Pickens High School Class of 1946. Mr. Garland served honorably in the United States Army. Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Sunday July 16th 2017 from the chapel of Logan Funeral Home with Min. Butch Jones and Rev. Larry Reece officiating. Music and vocals will be by Irene Wofford and George McClellan will serve as the bagpiper. Graveside interment will follow in the Whitestone Baptist Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 2pm until 7pm on Saturday July 15th 2017 at the Logan Funeral Home. Flowers are acceptable or donations may be made to the Whitestone Baptist Church Cemetery Fund co Deryl Hyde 53 Cripple Creek Lane Ellijay GA 30536 in memory of Mr. Garland.
