DUNCANVILLE – Mary Louise Allen, age 88, of Duncanville, Ala., died July 1, 2017, at his residence. Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, July 6, 2017, at Sunset Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 5, 2017, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Weaver, Myrtle McCaleb Weaver; two brothers; two sisters; husband, Albert (Eugene) Allen; son, Larry Allen; daughter, Linda (Sue) Latham; grandson, Steve Johnson, Jr.; uncles, cousins; and aunts. Survivors include her daughters, Carol Farley of Duncanville, Ala., Mary Kathryn Strickland of Fountain, Colo. and Sarah Britt of Forkland, Ala.; son, Randall Allen of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; ten or more grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren. She was also a great-great- grandmother. She was loved always and lived a happy 88 years of joyful life. Her heritage was Indian which she was very proud of being. She is now with her loved ones in Christ. The family would like to give a special thanks to her daughter, Carol, Farley; son-in-law, Jerald "Jerry" Farley whom she loved as a son; and Dorothy Farley who were her caregivers for the last 12 years. Honorary pallbearers are Tuscaloosa Amedisys Home Health and Tuscaloosa Amedisys Hospice.
