Robert Clonan, Jr. 1945 - 2017 NEW HARTFORD - Robert (Bob) Clonan, Jr., passed away, peacefully, on Monday, June 26, 2017, in Naples, FL, at the age of 72. He was born in Utica, on January 29, 1945, and graduated from St. John's School and New Hartford High School. He worked for Western Electric and AT&T, for over 30 years, before retiring to Old Forge and then to Naples, FL. Bob married his high school sweetheart, Kathleen Sadlik, in 1965. Bob was a loving father and husband. He loved Corvettes and the Adirondacks and chatting with locals wherever he was. Bob is survived by his loving wife, Kathleen; two sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Sheila Clonan, of Cazenovia, Brian and Tracey Clonan, of Hartford, CT; one daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and David Morton, of Manassas, VA; nine grandchildren; three brothers, Francis Clonan, of Deansboro, Michael Clonan, of Liverpool, and George Clonan, of Liverpool; and one sister, Hilarie Elefante, of New Hartford. He was predeceased by his sister, Cynthia Clonan. His funeral rights will be performed at St. John the Evangelist Church, New Hartford at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, July 8, 2017.
