In memory of
Stephanie "Miss G" Gonzalez
Stephanie Marie Gonzalez, daughter of Estevan and Sulema Gonzalez was born in Bakersfield, California in 1981. Stephanie had various jobs at Wienerschnitzel and B.C. before starting her career with the Kern County Probation Department as a Juvenile Corrections Officer (2003-2017). She loved her job dearly. Stephanie had an uncanny ability to counsel and relate to many of the troubled minors she supervised. To say Stephanie was full of life would be an understatement. She had an infectious laugh and smile that would light up a room. Wherever Stephanie was, her presence was always known as she tended to have very little volume control. Stephanie had a big heart and helped whoever she could with whatever they needed. In her short 35 years of life, she impacted too many people to list. Stephanie was taken from us way too soon. As hard as it is to believe the Lord has bigger plans for her in heaven. She will live in our hearts forever. Stephanie is preceded in death by her mother Sulema Gonzalez and grandmother Eva Navejas. She is survived by her children Frank IV, Gabriel, and Bella Oros. She is also survived by the father of her three children Frank Oros III, and her dear friend Ruben Subia. She is also survived by her father Estevan Sr., her siblings- Estevan Jr (Rachel) Eva (Martin) and Tabita Gonzalez. Her nieces Nevaeh, Baby Stephanie, and one nephew Joshie Vasquez. Special thanks to K.C.P.D and all of Stephanie's friends and family during this difficult time. Viewing will be held on Thursday, May 18th at Greenlawn Mortuary (3700 River Blvd) from 4-8 pm. Mass will be held at San Clemente Mission (1305 Water st.) at 9:30 am on Friday, May 19th. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Greenlawn Mortuary.
