KARL RANSOM "RANDY" WEBER
"Randy" was born to Karl Forman Weber and Mary Louise (Bunny) Hunter Weber in Los Angeles, CA on June 6, 1952. He was the oldest of six children, survived by his five siblings; Cynthia Davidson (Tom), Paul Weber, Mary Brint (Andy), Terry Weber and Tim Weber. He also leaves behind his step-parents; Carl Verheyen Sr. and Tina Weber and also six step-siblings; Carl Verheyen (Carol), Carolyn Verheyen, Katie Verheyen (Mark), Ken Verheyen (Tara), Tori McGough (Sean) and Jason Anderson (Alicia), also a large extended family including aunts and uncles, and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Most of Randy's childhood years were spent in Pasadena, CA where he attended St. Bede's elementary school and St. Francis High School. He also attended Santa Clara University before moving to the Mammoth Lakes area in the mid '70's. Randy was always an avid outdoorsman. He loved skiing, hiking and backpacking. He worked in the restaurant business and in his later years became quite knowledgeable in computer technology. He also had a strong interest in geology and was intrigued with the area of the Eastern Sierra where he called home and camped for the last 30+ years of his life. Randy chose to live simply, his home nature, where he felt most comfortable. He passed away in the solitude of his campsite where we hope he was at peace. His family and loved ones ask that if anyone knew Randy to please contact us at randyweber@yahoo.com .
