Nancy Helen Harden
Nancy Helen Harden, age 65 passed on Thursday, March 30, 2017 after a severe case of Wegener's Granulomatosis. She was born on March 6, 1952, in Kendallville IN to parents, Reuben W. and Ida H. Christianson. She was married to Kenneth D. Harden on May 4, 1985 in Kendallville. They resided in Albion IN and Yoder IN before moving to Murfreesboro, TN in Dec 2012. Nancy was a Speech Pathologist at Southwest Allen County Schools 1974-1980, and a certified gemologist and goldsmith in the family Christianson Jewelry stores in Albion and Kendallville 1980-1987. She cherished the opportunity to raise two sons, Glenn and Galen, beginning in 1987. She later returned to work for Shelton Financial Group and Light & Breuning. She retired from Target Corporation in Sep 2016 after 8 years. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth; sons, Glenn (Zanesville IN) and Galen (Arlington VA), and brother, David Christianson of Kendallville, IN. Funeral service will be Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Zanesville United Methodist Church, 11811 Wayne Street, Zanesville, IN 46799 with visitation starting at 9:30 AM. Visitation will also be Tuesday, April 4, 2017 from 4 to 8 PM at the church. Burial will be at Hoverstock Cemetery.
