Mr. John F. Lange, 73, of Canton passed away on Monday, February 13, 2017 at his residence.   Memorial services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Friday, February 24, 2017 from the Sosebee Memorial Chapel with Rev. Greg Roberson officiating. A committal service will follow at 12:30 p.m. at the Georgia National Cemetery.    The family will receive friends on Friday morning from 9:30 a.m. until the service hour at the funeral home.   Mr. Lange served in the U.S. Navy and was a retired welder. He was an avid reader who enjoyed learning. He was mathematically and scientifically inclined and he often used this knowledge to discern the workings of things that he came in contact with or was curious about. Most of all, he deeply loved his grandchildren.   He was preceded in death by his son, James Lange; and sister Marion Celske. He is survived by his children, Wayne Lange, Carol (Michael) Vermilya, Dawn (Benjamin) Landers; fiancée, Mary R. Hulsey. 10 grandchildren and several extended family members and friends also survive.   The family is accepting flowers or In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of his son, “Jimmy Lange”, to the American Cancer Society (Canton Chapter) at P.O.
