TRUDICK age 86, of Newbury, OH, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2017. Steve is survived by his 3 sons Michael Trudick, Nicholas Trudick, Stephen Trudick Jr., daughter Jolie Trudick, sister, Sr. Consolata of Sisters Servants Mary Immaculate, brother Nicholas Trudick and many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lee Trudick (Marino) and his sister Helen Worth. Steve was born on May 30, 1930 in Cleveland, OH. He graduated from Benedictine High School and John Carroll University. He was a U.S. Army veteran and owner of the Hardwood Lumber Company in Burton, OH. Steve was dedicated to his family and church. He loved to travel, play golf and participated in local men's basketball leagues for many years. Steve was a loving father, husband, grandfather and friend to all. Visitation at Russell-Sly Family Funeral Home, 15670 W. High St., Middlefield, OH, 44062, Sunday, Jan. 29, 2017, 2:00-4:00 p.m. & 6:00-8:00 p.m. Visitation will also be held Monday, January 30 at 10:00 a.m.- 11:00 a.m. followed by Office of Christian Burial 11:00 A.M. at St. Joseph's Byzantine Church, 8111 Brecksville Rd., Brecksville, OH. Burial will follow at All Souls Chardon Cemetery. Although flowers are appreciated, the family suggests contributions to the Shrine of Our Lady of Mariapoch, 17486 Mumford Rd., Burton, OH 44021.
