Joseph E. Rillton
Joseph E. Pytlak, 90, of Rillton, passed away Friday, Oct. 21, 2016, in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. He was born July 29, 1926, in Ernest, Pa., son of the late Peter and Mary (Kolveck) Pytlak. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother and four sisters. Prior to his retirement, Joe was a self-employed cement contractor for 40 years . His motto was "have trowel will travel." Joe is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Frances (Shuster) Pytlak; four sons, Joe (Kathy), Dave (Jodie), Stan (Avis), and Jeff (Laurie); two daughters, Sharon (Ron) Sedlak and Kathy (Barry) Hickey; 15 grandchildren and two great grandchildren; a sister, Frances Pontiero; and numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Joe will be dearly missed by his family, friends and neighbors. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the JOSEPH W. NICKELS FUNERAL HOME INC., 404 Sewickley Ave., Herminie, PA 15637, 724-446-7251. A funeral liturgy will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
