Jackson "Jerry" Taylor of Annapolis passed away peacefully at home on August 25th. He was 91 years old. Born and raised in Washington, DC, he was a decorated World War II veteran who completed 20 combat missions as a B-17 navigator in the European Theater. He graduated from Swarthmore College in 1949 with a degree in civil engineering. He continued his service to his country serving in the Air Force Reserves, retiring with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Jerry is survived by his son, James Taylor and daughter-in-law Karen; his daughter, Jennifer Flood and son-in-law Peter; and four grandchildren, Brennan, Kylie, Jackson and Chad. He also leaves behind his loving nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother and best friend, Thomas "Tuck" Taylor. He will be interred at Arlington National Cemetery.
