He moved to Bozeman, Montana, in 2006. There he was Program Director for the Big Sky Youth Empowerment Program working with at-risk youths, guiding them in outdoor activities as well as in classroom settings to help them develop life skills. He cherished this not as a job but as a calling. The young people whose lives he touched loved him, and they knew of his devotion to them. David leaves many friends wherever he lived. His friends in Montana will remember his amazing energy, infectious laugh and what he gave to others. He graced his friends with kindness, thoughtfulness and inclusion. His spirit will carry forward with all.
