Wilma (Smith) Johnson, 64 Wilma (Smith) Johnson, 64, of Wallingford, KY & formerly of Oxford, died, Friday, May 13, 2016, in her home with her Family surrounding her after a short battle with cancer. She was born, April 2, 1952, in Austin, IN, to the late Oma & James Smith. She graduated from Benton Central High School in 1970 & married the love of her life, Terry D. Johnson, August 19, 1970; he survives. Wilma worked her entire life, whether it was waiting table in local restaurants or owning local businesses. In 2010, Wilma retired & moved to Kentucky. She was a strong spiritual family person who never knew a stranger & just had a way of making everyone feel like family. She was a "Mother & Mamaw" to so many. Wilma enjoyed sitting on her porch listening to the sounds of her wind chimes, she loved watching Kentucky Basketball & ALWAYS got the last word, with "I Love you more". Surviving with her Husband, Terry, Wallingford, KY, are a Daughter, Shannon (Jim) McDaniel, West Lafayette, Son, Jared (Becky) Johnson, Attica, 3 Sisters, Sandy Gobel, Karen Smith & Dianne (Deidre) Meihls, all of Oxford, 2 Brothers, Kelvin (Connie) Smith & Calvin (Kelli) Smith, both of Hillsboro, KY, 7 Grandchildren, Bryant Johnson, Britney (Matt) Wallpe, Dusttin (Sadie) McDaniel, Jordan McDaniel, Kaitlyn Johnson, Logan Johnson & Jayslyn McDaniel, 3 Great-Grandchildren, EJ & Lincoln Wallpe & Harper McDaniel & several Nieces & Nephews. She is preceded in death by her Parents, Oma & James Smith & he Mother & Father-in-Law, Helen & Richard Johnson. A Celebration of Wilma's Life will be Sunday, June 12, 2016, beginning at 2 PM, at Old Academy Park, Oxford, IN.
