Anna Claire Achee
Anna Claire (Tazie) Kocke Achee of The Woodlands, Texas, passed away peacefully into the arms of her Savior, Friday, Feb. 19, 2106. She was born in Donaldsonville, La., on July 31, 1937. Tazie graduated from Ascension Catholic High School in Donaldsonville, La., in 1955, and she attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, La. She married Patrick (Buddy) Achee on Oct. 4, 1957 and became a devoted military wife and mother of five children, settling the family in Lafayette, La., in 1967. When her children finished school, she herself returned to school to get a degree in Horticulture then started her own landscape business. In 2006, she and Buddy moved to The Woodlands to be near some of their children. Tazie was a passionate Christian woman who loved to tell others about her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She is survived by her husband, Buddy; her children, Steve & Joan Achee of Atlanta, Ga.; Gary & Brenda Achee Luquette of Houston; Jennifer Achee of Oslo, Norway; Gary & Elizabeth Achee of The Woodlands and James & Mary Achee Sonnier of The Woodlands; her fourteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Nolan and Mary Graffeo Kocke, her brother, Ronald Kocke and sister, Katherine Kocke Dupuy.
