VERNA FRANCIS WINDSOR, NC Verna B. Francis, 69, of the 1400 block of S. King Street in Windsor, NC, died Thursday May 11, 2006, in Bertie Memori al Hospital. Mrs. Francis was the wife of Robert Gene Francis and the daughter of the late Elizabeth Wilson and Willie D. Billingsley. Mrs. Francis is survived by her two daughters, Teri F. Williford of Edenton and Trasa F. White of Windsor; her three sisters, Jean Peay of Mel bourne, Bill Kent of Sparta, TN and Dot VanEick of Melbourne; and her two brothers, Aubrey Billingsley of Orlando and Willie D. Billingsley of Windsor. She is also survived by her nine grand children, Bobi W. Bobbitt, Dustin White, Lee Williford, Lynse Willi ford, Nate Harper, Gabe White, Luke Williford, Zack White and Bobby Kerns and her two great- grandchildren Jaden Bobbitt and Jack Bobbitt. Beside her parents, Mrs. Francis was also predeceased by her daughter, Kathryn E. Francis; her son, Robert Gene Francis; and her sister, Tizzy Noles. Mrs. Francis was a member of Cashie Baptist Church in Windsor. Her favorite activity was attending her grandchil drens sporting events. A Celebration of Mrs. Francis life will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 17, 2006, at Cashie Baptist Church with the Rev. John McGinnis officiating. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery. Friends may join the Francis family at the Williford residence in Windsor at 204 S. King Street, from 7 to 9 p.m., Tues day, May 16th.
