Justin A. Durso Lived in West Caldwell, 31 Justin A. Durso, 31, of Shallotte, N.C., formerly of West Caldwell, N.J., passed away suddenly on Oct. 18, 2015. Visitation will be on Friday, Oct. 23, 2015, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Farmer Funeral Home, 45 Roseland Ave., Roseland, N.J. The Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24, at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church, Roseland, with interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, N.J. Memories and condolences may be shared at farmerfuneral.com . Born in Rahway, N.J., Justin lived in New Jersey, Texas and Ohio before settling in Shallotte, N.C., eight years ago. His time with the Civil Air Patrol in Medina, Ohio, led him to his love of service to the community. Justin was honored to be a part of the Duplin County Search and Rescue Dive Team. He was also an avid scuba diver who thoroughly enjoyed the sport. Justin had a love and understanding of young children and he was often found with the younger cousins at family gatherings. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Joseph and Margaret Rodrick, and his paternal grandfather, Anthony Durso. Justin is survived by his loving parents, Anthony and Peggy Durso; his grandmother, Antoinette Durso, and his many aunts, uncles and cousins. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Duplin County Search & Rescue Dive Team, 4486 S. NC Hwy. 41, Wallace, N.C. 28466 or Paws Place Inc. 3701 E. Boiling Spring Rd., Winnabow, N.C. 28479.
