Norman D. Haner
Hansen, Idaho: Norman D. Haner, 65, of Hansen passed away Saturday morning, July 4, 2015 at St. Lukes Magic Valley Medical Center following complications from surgery. Norman was born April 2, 1950 in Ravenden, Arkansas to George and Mildred Haner. He grew up in McCormick, Arkansas. When Norm was 2, his mother passed away and he was raised by his father and siblings. Graduating from Trumann High School in 1968, he went straight to work around Poinsett County and in Missouri before joining his brother in Buhl, Idaho. He worked in agricultural warehouses for most of his adult life. Norm married Shelley Glaesemann on May 22, 1982. He enjoyed camping, fishing, 4-wheeling and woodworking; and loved working with his hands and doing things himself. One of his greatest passions was playing guitar and singing. When he was young he handcrafted a steel guitar and learned to play it. Norm is survived by his wife Shelley of Hansen, his daughter Coy LuAnn (Wolf) Stanley of Twin Falls, granddaughter River Celeste Stanley of Twin Falls, his brothers George (Delena) Haner of Harrisburg, Arkansas, Wayne (Louise) Haner of Bono, Arkansas, Ray (Jean) Haner of Buhl, Idaho, and his sister Ruby (Donald) Pratt of Jonesboro, Arkansas; mother-in-law Jean Glaesemann of Burley, brother-in law Jerry Glaesemann of Burley, and sister-in-law Trudy Burgermeister of Filer. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Mildred Lucille O'brien and his son Kade Montgomery Haner.
