Ann Eliza Love Martin Outlaw was born on August 16,1932 in Durham, NC and peacefully passed away at her home in Gray's Hill, SC on August 25, 2014. Ann was born to George Corpening Love and Mary Wise Dula Love of Durham, NC. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by sister Mary Elizabeth Love Green, and brothers George C. Love Jr. and John Anderson Love. Additionally she was preceded in death by her first husband Harvey Jordan Martin Jr. Ann and Harvey were married on June 22, 1949 and were blessed with five children. Ann is survived by her husband James M. Outlaw, and her five children, Harvey J. Martin III (Kitty), Pamela Gail Martin Johnson (Bob), J. Michael Martin (Deborah), Debra Carolyn Martin Colleran (Tony) and Mary Lynn Martin Greenman (Byron). Ann is survived by 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Ann graduated Summa Cum Laude from Thomas Nelson Community College in Hampton, VA with two degrees, Accounting and Business Management. Ann moved to Beaufort in 1973 and went to work at Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS). By the time she retired, she had risen to Deputy Comptroller of MCAS-Beaufort. Ann was always active in her church and community and will be missed by all that knew her. The family will receive friends Thursday August 28, 2014 from 5-7 PM at Anderson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 29, 2014 at 10:30 A.M. at Sea Island Presbyterian Church, 81 Lady?s Island Drive, Beaufort., 81 Lady?s Island Drive, Beaufort. Interment will follow in Beaufort National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity.
