Glenna Frederick BORDERLAND, W.Va. — Glenna Jean Frederick, 75, of Borderland, passed away Tues., July 22, 2014, at Pikeville Medical Center. Born Jan. 17, 1939, in Williamson, she was a daughter of the late Elba Wray Justice and Hazel Mari Ward Justice. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Benjamin Frederick, on July 4, 2014; two brothers, Joseph and Ray Justice, and two sisters, Joyce Maynard and Nancy Hatfield. Glenna was a former postal clerk with the U.S. Postal Service. She was a graduate of Chattaroy High School. She enjoyed RV travel and camping with her family; she enjoyed feeding Humming birds, gardening and craft work. She was a longtime member of Grace Baptist Temple. Survivors include her sons, George Speiker of Huntington, Eric (Beth) Speiker of Euclid, Ohio, Benjamin (Kathryn) Frederick of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Dean (Janet) Frederick, Brownsville, Tn.; daughters, Robin (Donald) Santini of Vineland, N.J., Dorothy (Luke) Root of Estel Manor, N.J., and Dawn Frederick of Sacramento, Calif.; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary Harris; good friends Teresa Hensley and Betty McFarland, and a loving cousin, Gail Maynard. Services will be held at 7 p.m. Fri., July 25, at Weaver Mortuary with Rev. Ron Sanger officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the mortuary. Weaver Mortuary of West Williamson is in charge of arrangements.
