JONES, Sharon November 30, 1943 - June 9, 2014 Sharon, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt has earned her wings and departed for Heaven to join her fellow angels. Lovingly remembered by her husband Ron, children Cindy Saunders and Rick (Sharon) Saunders; siblings Richard (Beulah), Dennis and Trish Paugh and Judy Carr (Wes); grandchildren Jennifer and Matthew Saunders; many dear nieces and nephews; stepdaughters Melanie (Dan) and Holly-Anne (John); and step-grandchildren David, Anna, Cathy and Paul Gunn; long time friend Garth Saunders. Sharon's many interests included leading sing-alongs, dancing (often with the Queens and Jacks Square Dance Club), golf (especially with her pals at Inglewood) and bridge (fondly with the Rotary Anns). Sharon was a fun loving person who travelled extensively with Ron and her family, covering five continents around the globe. Her fighting Irish spirit gained her the respect of many and enabled Sharon to survive many health crises over recent years. R.I.P. Sharon - soar high and forever fly free. A Memorial Mass will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church (10827 - 24 Street SW) on Friday, June 20, 2014 at 2:30 p.m. An Irish Celebration to follow at Destino Restaurant.
