Zaka Marie BLEICHER
BLEICHER, Zaka Marie Zaka Marie Bleicher (née Suellen Marie Lytle), 36, of Sandy Springs, GA, passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2014. She was a gift from God and everything she did was a gift to others. Born in Madison, WI, Zaka was a graduate of Malcolm Shabazz High School and later became a graduate and Certified Massage Therapist from the Atlanta School of Massage. Both a talented artist and Master Potter, Zaka's true passion in life began with a formal apprenticeship with Griffin of Griffin George Pottery in Sopchoppy, FL, followed by an additional apprenticeship with Dennis Sotala at Traprock Pottery in Copper Harbor, MI. Becoming known and recognized for her pottery, Zaka was both a long-time resident and member of the artistic community, as well as an associate of Rob Withrow of Smoke in the Mountain Pottery, in Brasstown, NC. She is survived by her parents, Evelyn and Michael Bleicher and her birth father Robert M. Lytle; her sister, Kathryn Lytle; her brother, Robert H. Lytle (Kimberly); her step-sister, Helene Rhodes (Harry); her step-brothers, Laurence Bleicher (Rivka) and Benjamin Carmel (Stephanie); and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Zaka truly left her mark and in her time here was considered a Light and a Blessing. An online guestbook is available at www.edressler.com .
