KIRKMANSVILLE -- Ben C. Perry, 74, and Sue O. Perry, 71, passed away Friday, December 12, 2003, from injuries they suffered in an auto accident in Christian County, KY. Mr. Perry was born October 1, 1929, in Louisville, the son of the late William A. Perry and Mary Jo Hagan Perry. He was retired from Chevron Chemical Company and the retired owner of Perry's Nursery. He was a US Marine Corps veteran and a member of St. Susan Catholic Church. Mrs. Perry was born November 16, 1932, in Louisville, the daughter of the late Paul S. Osborne and Kathleen Hutchinson Osborne. She was retired from Cayce-Yost Department Store in Hopkinsville, KY, and a member of St. Susan Catholic Church. Survivors include four sons, Ben C. Perry Jr. and David Perry, both of Louisville, Kevin Perry of New Palestine, IN, and Matt Perry of Trenton, KY; three daughters, Nancy Howser of Palm Bay, FL, Lynn Sweitzer of Winter Park, FL, and Ann Perry of Kirkmansville; Mrs. Perry's sister, Nancy O. Green, of Merritt Island, FL; 14 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 17, 2003, at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton, KY, with Father Frank Ruff officiating. Cremation will follow and a private burial service will be held Thursday at Edgewood Cemetery in Trenton. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, December 16, 2003, at the funeral home.
