KELLER, Kathryn 45, of Avon Park, Florida, passed away Friday, November 22, 2013 in Houston, Texas. She was born on June 9, 1968 in Toledo, Ohio. Kate was a mathematics teacher at Frostproof Middle/High School in Frostproof, FL where she touched the lives of her students for 19 years. She made math fun! She was preceded in death by grandparents Margarete and George Keller Sr, and Dorothy and Robert Mason and Aunt and Uncle Judie and James Heineman. She is survived by parents Marsha and George Keller of Clermont, FL; sister Amanda (William) VanPelt, nieces Eva, Catherine, and Delaney; nephew William all of Houston, TX; Aunts and Uncles Norma and Alan Keller of Fort Wayne, IN, Sally and Joseph Mason, Cathy and Robert Mason all of Toledo, OH; as well as numerous other loving relatives and friends, especially the Frostproof community and Committee Members. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Drs. Frumovitz, Jhingran, and Rao and the staff at M.D. Anderson, Houston, and Houston Hospice for their care and support. A memorial service for family only will be held at 10 AM December 3, 2013 at the Woodlawn Funeral Home, Houston, Texas.
