Grady ""Allen"" Vest
Grady "Allen" Vest, 55, of Huntly, VA passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2013, at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 3, at 2:00 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home conducted by Pastor Dan Rogers. Mr. Vest was born on June 26, 1958 in Front Royal, son of the late Norman "Grady" Vest and Doris Virginia Nicholson Vest of Flint Hill. He was the owner of Vest Excavation, LLC. Surviving along with his mother are his wife Kim Vest; one daughter Victoria Cooper and husband Richard of Winchester; one son Kirkland Vest of Flint Hill; two sisters Christal Werner and husband Mark of Flint Hill and Renee Calisto of Woodville; and one grandchild Aleeya Cooper. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:00 ­ 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to a charity of choice. Friends and family are invited back to Flint Hill Fire Dept. after the memorial service. Arrangements are being handled by Maddox Funeral Home, Front Royal.
