Miller resident, 67 MILLER - Marjorie Faye Lambert, 67, of Miller died of cancer Friday, July 12, 2013, at her home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Aug. 1 at Miller United Methodist Church with the Revs. Bonnie Brock and Keith Theobald officiating. Graveside services will be at 9:30 a.m. Aug. 2 at Mount Hope Cemetery in Beaver City. Wenburg Funeral Home in Beaver City is in charge of arrangements. She was born Feb. 11, 1946, at Long Beach, Calif., to Veryl and Mabel F. (Johnson) Nyland. On June 8, 1963, she married LeRoy Lambert. Survivors include her husband; daughter, Tracey Dunn of Kearney; son, Kenneth Lambert and his wife, Tamara, of Miller; her parents of Norton, Kan.; grandchildren, Brooke and Taylor Dunn, and Keenan, Ryan, and Rachael Lambert; great-grandchild, Morgan Florke; and sisters, Lois Peters, Joyce Rogers and Karen Smith. She and LeRoy raised daughter Tracey and son Kenneth on the family farm near Beaver City. Over the years, they enjoyed square dancing and traveling. Marj spent most of her life dress making, doing alterations, making draperies, home decor and gardening. She was also a wonderful cook, but sewing was a passion. Refreshments at the Miller Community Hall will follow the Aug. 1 service. Refreshments at the Community Building in Beaver City will follow the Aug. 2 graveside service. Family is requesting everyone wear bright colors for the outdoor service to celebrate Marj's life and love for flowers. Memorials and cards of sympathy can be sent to 301 N.
