Vaughn "V.O." Olsen Young 1917 ~ 2003  Vaughn "V.O." Olsen Young, 86, of Rancho Mirage, CA, passed away Nov. 17, 2003 of natural causes.  Born Aug. l6, 1917 to Leo and Elise Young in Salt Lake City, Utah. Married Edith Duckworth, later divorced. Member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Was a veteran of World War II serving in the Merchant Marines as the ship purser. He had a beautiful voice and sang with the Ambassadors, a well known quartet, who performed throughout Utah. Married Dorothy May Moulding. For 22 years they owned and operated V.O. Young Inc., a printing company in Salt Lake City, Utah. Later moved to Rancho Mirage, California He is preceded in death by his mother and father, wife Dorothy and daughter, Antoinette (Toni) Dewsnup. Survived by son, Stephen K. Young (Shirlee), daughter Nancy Buehner, (Steve), 14 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren. Graveside services were held Fri. Nov. 21 2003 at Desert Memorial Park in Cathedral City, California.
