Samantha Anne Schadly Samantha Anne Schadly, 75, of Lignum, Virginia, passed away on Monday, July 9, 2012, at her residence. Born on August 16, 1936, to Marvin and Annie Boley Baldwin, Samantha was a member of Precious Blood Catholic Church and the church choir, loved flowers and her grandchildren. She worked with Dr. J. Bernard Jones and in the later years worked at the Culpeper Baptist Retirement Community. She was also a devoted and loving wife of 53 years to the late Wolfgang Karl Schadly. Survivors include her sons, W. Karl Schadly II of Lignum, Virginia, Mark Schadly and his wife, Ann, of Potomac, Maryland, and Erich Schadly and his wife, Annette, of Lignum, Virginia; grandchildren, Nathan Schadly, Madelyn Schadly, Erin Persinger, Abigail and Jacob Schadly. She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents. A time of visitation will be held at Clore-English Funeral Home from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday, July 12, 2012. Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Friday, July 13, 2012, at Precious Blood Catholic Church, 114 East Edmondson Street, Culpeper, Virginia. Interment will follow at Culpeper National Cemetery, 501 Chandler Street, Culpeper. Contributions may be made to Epiphany Catholic School, 114 East Edmondson Street, Culpeper, VA 22701 or Hospice of the Rapidan, P.O. Box 1715, Culpeper, VA 22701.
