BALDWIN, Arthur Goodwin, 91, of Mechanicsville, went to be with the Lord Monday, April 23, 2012. He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Marion L. Baldwin. He is survived by two sons, Bruce Baldwin (Annette) and Bobby Baldwin (Betty); and one daughter, Judy Christopher (Barry); seven grandchildren, Darbi Fretwell, Jennifer Lopez (Nick), Ross Tanner (Kelly), Casey Baldwin and Jonathan Tanner (Ashby), Trey and Nick Baldwin; four great-grandchildren, Christina and Jesse Malbone, Carissa Lopez and Emma Tanner; one sister, Margaret Garnett; also his beloved beagle, Charlie. He was retired from American Tobacco Company. He loved family gatherings, gardening, fishing and the outdoors. The family will receive friends at the Mechanicsville Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 8014 Lee-Davis Rd., on April 25 from 4 to 7 p.m., where funeral services will be held Thursday, April 26, at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Signal Hill Memorial Park. The family would like to express a special thank you to his team at Bon Secours Hospice for their love, support and excellent care for Arthur during his illness.
